Over 100 participants walked in the Out of the Darkness Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on Saturday at the Mercer County Fairgrounds, raising more than $15,000 for local programs to help prevent suicides. According to local event organizer Margie Griesdorn, donations to the event can be made until Dec. 31 at AFSP.org.
