Celina men headed to prison on drug charges

WAPAKONETA - Two Celina men were sentenced in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court recently following a drug bust earlier this year in the Grand Lake area.
• Robert L. Lowe III, 33, 1400 W. Market St., lot 47, was sentenced to a total of 36 months in prison after pleading guilty in December to drug trafficking, the sale of a dangerous drug and failure to appear, all fourth-degree felonies.
Judge Frederick Pepple also ordered Lowe to pay a $500 fine and $435 in restitution to the Grand Lake Task Force, and suspended his operator's license for five years.
A deal between the prosecutor and Lowe dismissed three counts of drug trafficking, part of the original indictment.
The failure to appear charge stemmed from an Oct. 3 hearing.
• Timothy Hagen, 21, 309 W. Fayette St., was sentenced to a total 30 months in prison after pleading guilty in December to two counts of drug trafficking, fourth- and fifth-degree felonies.
Two other counts of drug trafficking were dismissed in a negotiated plea.
Pepple also ordered Hagen to pay $155 in restitution to the Grand Lake Task Force and suspended his operator's license for five years.
