By Margie Wuebker
Eight adults and two juveniles face charges after Celina Police responded to reports of a loud party on Ash Street early Saturday morning.
Jonathon R. Dulebohn, 26, 232 S. Ash St., was charged with permitting underage drinking at his home.
Police determined nine of the 15 people present at the party had been consuming alcohol.
Charged with underage consumption were the following Celina residents: Cody W. Hodge, 19, 642 E. Livingston St.; Michael K. Gillis, 20, 152 Margo Lane; Justin A. Woods, 20, 316 S. Walnut St.; Brandon A. Lykins, 19, 2291/2 E. Fayette St.; Shawn A. Grunden, 19, 206 E. Oak St.; and Aimee G. Boess, 18, 240 N. LeBond St.; and Coldwater resident Angela L. Herron, 19, 911 N. Seventh St.
Additionally, a 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were found to have consumed alcohol. A report forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office requests underage consumption charges against the pair.
The adults are to appear in Celina Municipal Court while the other two cases will be heard in Mercer County Juvenile Court.
Hodge was arrested at the scene and incarcerated at the Mercer County Jail on an active bench warrant.
"The Celina Police Department has a long history of zero tolerance on underage drinking and OVI (operating a vehicle under the influence) violations," Chief Dave Slusser said. "With warm weather and spring breaks approaching, the department will continue its efforts to insure the safety of our community through effective enforcement of all liquor control laws."
