Delores Hussey
Delores A. Hussey, 77, 726 Gethsemane St., St. Marys, died at 4 a.m. Sept. 2, 2007, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.
She was born March 21, 1930, near Montezuma, to Gerald and Viola Topp Sanders. On Nov. 20, 1948, she married Ralph Hussey, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Douglas (Martha) and Wayne, all of St. Marys; four daughters, Theresia (George) Haddox, Bullhead, Ariz., Elizabeth "Betsy" (Jim) Stricker and Susan (David) Doenges, all of Minster, and RaJean (Mike) Archer, St. Marys; four brothers, Paul Sanders, St. Marys, Norbert (Michele) Sanders, Virginia Beach, Va., Fred (Helen) Sanders, Bryan, and Ralph (Nadine) Sanders, Wabash; a sister, Dorothy Meeker, St. Marys; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildern.
Deceased are a brother, Carl Sanders; an infant brother; a sister, Ruth Long; and a great-grandchild.
She retired as a production worker at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and had worked at the former Brodbeck's store, both of St. Marys. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and auxiliary member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, American Legion Post 323, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767 and Disabled American Veterans, all of St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Alan Sanders officiating. Private family burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
