Willie Floyd
Willie M. Floyd, 77, Ansonia, died at 8:15 a.m. April 2, 2008, at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville.
He was born June 19, 1930, in Akron, to Willie Cortez and Hazel Spear Floyd. On Dec. 18, 1954, he married Margaret Whitesell, who survives.
Other survivors are, a son, John (Deborah), Greenville; two daughters, Tina (Michael) Glaser, Wilmington, and Virginia (Donald) Delk, Greenville; a sister, Barbara Scott, Montezuma; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Tony Alan, is deceased.
He retired from Harlamert Foods in Dayton, where he worked in sales, and was a member of the Greenville Loyal Order of the Moose and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Joe Royer officiating. Burial is at Greenville Township Memorial Garden.
Calling is 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
