John Sizelove
John R. Sizelove, 85, 5134 It's It Road, Lot 20, Celina, died at 9 a.m. Jan. 1, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 29, 1923, in Cincinnati, to John M. Jr. and Fay Surline Sizelove. He married Mary Bowser Hammond-Sizelove, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Susan (Brian) Hendricks, Miamisburg, and Rebecca (Andrew) Steinman, Elmhurst, Il.; four stepsons, Raymond Hammond, Dayton, Texas, Philip Hammond, Middletown, Michael (Sandy) Hammond, West Carrolton, and Jeff (Meridith) Hammond, Kettering; a stepdaughter, Stella (Rex) Haller, Middletown; two brothers, Richard (Ethel), Lake Wales, Fla., and Donald (Rosmon), Mashpee, Md.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He worked for 48 years for the Department of the Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Base as a research physicist.
Services are 1 p.m. Jan. 10 at New Start Community Fellowship Church, Celina. Burial is at the convenience of the family.
