Jeanette Beckman
Jeanette A. Beckman, 89, 05001 N. Corporation Road, Minster, died at 3:55 a.m. July 2, 2009, at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1920, in Minster, to Joseph and Philomena Sextro Roetgerman. On May 17, 1941, she married Wilbert "Bill" Beckman, who died March 5, 1991.
Surviving are her children, Mary Jane (Jack) Ritter, John (Margie) Beckman, Tim (Janet) Beckman, Ted (Mary) Beckman and Rick (Becky) Beckman, all of Minster, and Sara (Joe) Kappel, Greenwood, Ind.; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, William; a sister, Mary King; and a brother, Robert Roetgerman.
She was a homemaker and, along with her husband, founded Applenotch Holsteins Inc. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and the Farm Bureau Federation.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
