Wilfred Timmerman
Wilfred H. "Pop" Timmerman, 85, of Elm St., Fort Loramie, died at 7:10 a.m. Aug. 5, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 26, 1923, in Burkettsville to Anthony and Frances Rammel Timmerman. He married his first wife, Rita Wagner on July 26, 1946, and she died Sept. 24, 1985. On April 21, 1987, he married Emily "Jean" Spahr Hill Timmerman, who survives.
Other survivors are 12 children, James (Janie) Timmerman, Fort Recovery, Barbara Phlipot, Russia, Thomas (Mary Ann) Timmerman, Fort Loramie, Joseph (Deborah) Timmerman, Russia, Stephen (Sandra) Timmerman, Burkettsville, Raymond (Karen) Timmerman, New Bremen, Paul (Patty) Timmerman and Michael (Ann) Timmerman, all of Fort Loramie, Patrick (Diane) Timmerman, and Norbert Timmerman, all of Minster, Maurice Timmerman, New Bremen and Theresa (Roger) Kiser, Fort Loramie; brothers and sisters, Gerald (Irene) Timmerman, Fort Recovery, Edna (Paul) Klingshirn, Coldwater and Lucille (Jerome) Laux, Fort Recovery; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loudonna Timmerman, Fort Recovery, Alma Timmerman, Coldwater, Bernard Hartings, St. Henry, Urban Dirksen, Fort Recovery, Ruth Schieltz, Versailles, Patricia (James) Borchers, Versailles, Betty Sowers, Dayton, 46 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Leo; a grandson and two great-grandsons: a son-in-law, Harry Phlipot; a daughter-in-law, Marcia Timmerman; brothers and sisters and spouses, Richard Timmerman, Louis Timmerman, Erma (Arthur) Eischen, Ruth (Lavern) Gruss, Joan (Gregor) Hartings, Esther Hartings and Bernice Dirksen; brothers and sisters-in-law, George Schieltz, John Wagner, Werner (Mary Lou) Wagner and Norman Sowars.
He retired in 1987 from Larger Brothers Milk Transport, Fort Loramie, where he had worked for 26 years. He hauled milk for 41 years and had farmed for three years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie and the Dayton Family Camping Club.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.

Paul Meyer
Services for Paul E. Meyer were held Aug. 5, 2009, at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, the Rev. Debra Domeier officiated. Organist was Carol Zimmerman.
Pallbearers to Buck Cemetery, Celina, were Ken, Jeff, Josh and Brad Meyer, Terry and Steve Fisher, Dan Williams and Stephen Laux.
