June Miller
June C. Roessner Miller, 94, formerly of 1116 Kensington Lane, Celina, died at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 6, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Jan 5, 1915, in Montezuma to the late Cloyd D. and Sarah C. Yaney Tobin. On Jan 5, 1937, she married her first husband, Sylvester Roessner, who died Oct. 18, 1978. She married her second husband, Melvin Miller, on Nov. 3, 1979, and he died April 5, 1993.
Survivors include her children, Donald (Sandra) Roessner, Lima, Phyllis Davenport-Griesdorn, Coldwater, and Sylvia (Linus) Meyer, Minster; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three grandchildren; sons-in-law, Leon Davenport and David Griesdorn; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Alice Tobin, Robert and Thelma Tobin and James and Lenora Tobin; and a sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Harold Edmiston.
She was a member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church and worked for Buckeye Overhaul Company for 20 years before retiring in 1975.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral home, Celina, the Rev. Matt Burden officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
