Dorothy Gray
Dorothy E. Gray, 87, Celina, died at 2 p.m. March 30, 2011, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born June 14, 1923, in Monroeville, Ind., to Jullian and Eleanor Voirol Gremaux. On May 6, 1950, she married Gerald "Bud" Gray, who survives.
Also surviving are, a son, Gary (Kate) Gray, Boston, Mass.; four daughters, Kathleen (David) Mathys, Harlan, Ind., Carolyn (Hiram) Davies, Atlanta, Ga., Sharon (Mark) Kebe, Cincinnati, and Linda (Philip) Kremer, Dayton; four brothers, Walter "Bud" Gremaux, Monroeville, Ind., Joe Gremaux, Decatur, Ind., Arnold Gremaux, Kendallville, Ind., and Lloyd Gremaux, New Haven, Ind; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are three sisters, Veronica Harkenrider, Eleanor Kelble and Elsie Snider.
A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, she was a retired cook at the IC School as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. She is a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina, where a military service will be conducted.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
