David Raab, of Union, registers at Big Bamboos Dockside Grille for the Grand Lake Get the Carp Outta Here fishing tournament, which started at 5 p.m. Friday and will continue through 5 p.m. Sunday. Helping with the paperwork is Big Bamboos' owner Dick Cushman, back. Carp weigh-ins are at 5 p.m. today and Sunday at East and West Bank boat ramps. More than $2,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded in adult and youth divisions for those landing the most fish and the largest fish. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m. Sunday at Big Bamboos Dockside Grille. Donna Grube, director of the Convention & Visitor's Bureau, already had collected more than 200 tournament registrations early Friday evening. "I'm very pleased with the participation. The tournament is something people can have fun with and help the lake at the same time," she said. Those interested can register during the weekend at various locations around the lake.
