A group of Head Start preschoolers look excited and in awe after receiving homemade quilts bearing their own pictures. The quilts were made and delivered by 14 students from the Tri Star Early Childhood Development program. Tri Star teacher Bonnie Dahlinghaus said her students made the personalized quilts as part of a community service project to benefit the young children. Preschool teacher Jenny Johnides said the quilts will come in handy for afternoon nap time for her students &emdash; the first all-day Head Start class. |
