| Trooper Bob Hoelscher of the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) aims his radar gun at vehicles traveling along U.S. 33 in Wapakoneta. Rural traffic fatalities were on the rise in 2002, according to OSHP state-wide statistics. Locally, 11 people were killed in traffic accidents in Auglaize County and two in Mercer County in 2002. | ||
