| Mary Snyder, with help from her husband, Dan, ties a yellow ribbon around a tree in front of their home at 117 East Warren Street in Celina, in honor of their son, Van Gipson, 21, a U.S. Marine deployed Monday to the Persian Gulf region. The Snyders tied several more ribbons around the outside of their property symbolizing their hope for the safe return of their son and other area men and women serving in our country's military. Several local military personnel have been called to duty recently. | ||
