A concrete form for the new Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center in Celina is lifted into place by a crane Monday afternoon. Construction of the $6.8 million, 24,000-square-foot cancer treatment center is scheduled for completion late this year. The center involves some unique construction, such as 12-foot thick concrete walls to contain radiation. The oncology unit is a joint venture of several regional hospitals, including Community Hospital, Coldwater, and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. | ||
