A large banner proclaiming "Support Our Troops" hangs in front of the Ohio City home of Eldonna and Gary Wagonrod. Their 19-year-old son, Marine Pfc. Christian Daniel Gurtner, was killed early Wednesday morning in Iraq. His gun accidentally discharged during combat and he was hit in the chest. The Wagonrods put up the banner and yellow ribbon streamers shortly after the war began. |
