Mike Grunden of Rockford holds the 24-pound wild turkey he bagged Tuesday morning in rural Rockford. The 37-year-old hunter shot the only wild turkey taken in Mercer County as of this morning. Spring wild turkey hunting season began Monday and runs through May 25. |
