Smoke and noise accompany detonation of blasting caps Thursday at the rear of Bunge Park. Members of the Lima bomb squad handled the detail while Celina fire and rescue units stood by. The caps, remnants of stock that had been used to break up fertilizer in past years, were discovered in a storage area at Mercer Landmark Inc. Celina Fire Chief Doug Kuhn said a decision was made to call in the bomb squad to handle the disposal.
