| Several areas of Coldwater Memorial Park were roped off at the picnic after they became huge mud pits from the heavy rains Friday and Saturday. Some people took mud dives Saturday evening for fun before authorities halted the action for fear of injuries. Some events were canceled due to the rain and mud. The bands scheduled to entertain Saturday and Sunday did not perform, although a local band, “Stranded,” graciously filled in Sunday evening. |
