The Celina Moose Lodge 1473, along with Moose International, has kicked off a community service project called Tommy Moose. The local lodge has purchased several of the stuffed furry animals, which will be distributed to local law enforcement agencies. Patrolmen will be able to give the animals to children who may be affected by domestic violence, accidents or any other situations in which the animals may help cheer up the involved children. Pictured in front of the cruiser with the first distribution to the Mercer County Sheriff's Department are Sheriff Jeff Grey, Deputy Lori Knapke and Moose International Supreme Governor Tom Hatcher. Behind the cruiser are Celina Moose Lodge officers Doug Knapke, Tom Grabow, Steve Shaffer, Brian Cox, Jim Monroe, Craig Gray, Chuck Staugler and John Rethman.
