Reconstruction of Havemann Road in Celina is ahead of schedule so far, even though the July rains delayed the start of the project. Jutte Excavating of Fort Recovery is preparing the aggregate base followed by construction of curbs and gutters. The state-funded project also includes a traffic loop to be installed at the Ohio 29 light, which entails putting wires under the pavement to trigger light changes for left and right turns onto the highway. Project completion is expected by late October, weather permitting, a city official said this morning.
