Owner Oscar Jutte, who is observing 50 years of melon-growing, reports a bumper crop of the juicy red melons this year, including the 47-pounder that he is holding. With Jutte are his grandchildren, Payton, 2, and Devin, 3, and the family’s trusted companion, Ruby. The melons are available at the farm’s roadside fruit stand. |
