| Briarwood Manor Nursing Home,
Coldwater, is a recipient of the American Health Care Association’s
(AHCA) prestigious Qual-ity Award.
The AHCA Quality Award is a distinction given to AHCA-member facilities
for applying continuous quality im-provement principles. It was given
this year to 64 facilities nationwide.
“This award is a true reflection of the compassionate, quality
care provided to the residents and their families by the dedicated staff
members at Briarwood Manor,” stated Tara Sibert, administrator
of Briarwood Manor.
Briarwood Manor is a comprehensive,100-bed, dually certified skilled
nursing facility that offers short-term and long-term care, rehabilitative
therapy, respite and hospice care. It is operated by HCF, Inc., a provider
of skilled nursing care, rehabilitative services and assisted living
services.
A celebration of this award is scheduled at Briarwood on Oct. 18 from
1:30-4:30 p.m. with food and entertainment provided. The public is invited.
