| Mercer County Sheriff’s deputies and a firefighter from Southwest Mercer Fire Department investigate the scene of a fatal accident at the intersection of Wabash and Philothea roads late Wednesday afternoon. The car, pictured in the background, was driven by 20-year-old Daniel Schoenlein of Portland, Ind.. who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, Karen Wetz of Fort Recovery, remained in critical condition this morning at a Lima hospital. |
