| Tri Star Early Childhood Development students surround Jamie Schmiesing of Minster and her new twins, John and Mary, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, as they show off the educational baskets they made to donate to new mothers. The students held fund-raisers to pay for the cost of supplies to create the 100 baskets. Each colorful basket is filled with children's books, music CD's and other information such as the importance of reading to children. They've also been distributed at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. The students are members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). |
