| A semitrailer owned by Midwest Wood Trim of Napoleon sets jackknifed in a field along Ohio 29 at Fleetfoot Road following an accident at 11:10 a.m. June 2. Driver Tony L. Allen, 52, of McClure, was treated then released at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Allen was westbound on 29 and failed to notice the car of Lois A. Hemmelgarn, 71, 3804 Philothea Road, Coldwater, waiting to turn left onto Fleetfoot. Hemmelgarn reportedly drove forward to avoid being struck as Allen took evasive action. The truck sustained heavy damage while the car emerged unscathed. Allen was cited for failure to control. Purchase this as a quality photograph | ||||||||
