| Jim Coats of Celina races in the final lap to win the figure 8 race held Tuesday night at the Mercer County Fair. Several cars raced around a figure 8 track at the same time, often crashing into one another. Coats' car was the first to complete 15 laps to win the feature race. Also held on Tuesday night was the demolition derby for 1977 cars and newer. The last car running to win that show was Pat Browder of Celina. Another demolition derby will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in front of the grandstand. Purchase this as a quality photograph | ||||||||
