Nell Rose Hines
Nell Rose Hines, 79, 3601 state Route 703, Celina, died at 10 a.m. Oct. 26, 2004, at her home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Wapakoneta, to Fred and Sarah Gould Loomis. On Nov. 6, 1943, she married Vernon Hines who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kevin (Mariann) of Celina; two daughters, Linda (Steve) Schroer, New Bremen, and Cinda (Newman) Renfro, Parkers Lake, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Gladys Loomis, Lakeland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Ivan Loomis, and an infant sister.
She had worked as an assembler at Huffy's before retiring in 1977 after 10 years. She was a member of the Celina Senior Citizens and a former member of the NCHA Camping Club.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home with Kenny Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Robert E. Winget, 56, 322 W. Forest St., Celina, died at 1 a.m. Oct. 27, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to cancer.
He was born Oct. 22, 1948, in Urbana, to Howard and Garnett Dooley Winget. On Oct. 19, 1985, he married Gaye L. Humphrey who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Chris (Cheryl) of Celina; two daughters, Lauren of Celina and Laura (Rodney) Harrod, Trenton; three brothers, Jerry and William (Pat), all of Celina, and Howard (Diane) of Elida; three sisters, Anna Hammons, Ottoville, Betty (Mark) Walker, Crescent City, Fla., and Jo (Joe) Gray, Celina; and two granddaughters.
Two sisters are deceased.
An employee of Chuck Samples Construction in Celina, he was a graduate of Celina High School and a member of Celina American Legion post.
Private services are planned.
