| Tire marks trace the path of a 1996 Dodge Caravan involved in an accident at 9:08 a.m. April 25 along the 6900 block of Mercer Road. Mary A. Hesse, 38, 01040 Hesse Road, Spencerville, lost control of her westbound van on a curve. It drove off the right side of the pavement striking a mailbox and a newspaper box before coming to rest on the other side of the road. Hesse was taken by ambulance to Van Wert County Hospital.
