| Members of the Celina Fire Department rescued a wind surfer from Grand Lake on Sunday afternoon. The victim, identified only as a 30-year-old man from Cincinnati, was not injured in the incident, according to Celina firefighter/paramedic Brian Anderson. While surfing on top of the water's surface, the unidentified man apparently became separated from his surf-board-like equipment called a "boogie board" which kept him above the water, Anderson said. Wearing a wet suit and life jacket, the man was trying to get himself to shore when a caller notified 911 at 12:02 p.m. Police officers temporarily closed a portion of Lake Shore Drive near East Market Street as the fire department set out in their Zodiac boat to pick him up. The man could be seen floating in the water several hundred feet off shore with his parachute floating a few feet away. Although the water temperature is currently below 60 degrees, the surfer wasn't in the lake long enough to suffer any serious health problems, officials said.
