Eudine Waterman

Eudine H. "Dean" Waterman, 88, 14 E. Vine St., New Bremen, died at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 16, 2005, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Death was due to injuries sustained in a golf cart-car accident near Minster.
   He was born July 18, 1917, in New Bremen, to Lafayette and Bertha Koeper Waterman.
   Nieces and nephews survive.
   Deceased are two brothers, Richard and Robert, and two sisters, Laverne McCollum and Pearl Becker.
   He had worked as a layout person in the STAMCO machine department in New Bremen before retiring in 1982.
   He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and Bolly's Card Club, both of New Bremen; a former member of Zion United Church of Christ, New Bremen; and a 1935 graduate of New Bremen High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
   Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating.
   Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, has charge of arrangements.
   Contributions can be made to the New Bremen Historic Association or the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
