Let it snow, let it snow

A village of snowmen is on display for the public at Intuitions clothing store in the Galleria in Celina. Kip Klosterman of Celina and fellow students in the advanced dimensional illustration class at the Columbus College of Art and Design crafted "A Frosty Christmas" in 1996 and displayed the village at the Children's Hospital in the city. His father, former Judge Mark Klosterman, brought the display to the Mercer County Courthouse in the late '90s and since has stored it in his home. The 6-by-6-foot snowman village, which includes igloo homes, a McDonalds, post office, ice skaters, art gallery, Elvis Presley snowman impersonator and even a sighting of Waldo, is now for sale. The hundreds of snow people were made of Sculpy, a plastic clay that was sculpted and then baked in a toaster oven. Interested buyers should contact the Klostermans at 419-586-3428.
