| | Daniel Hof of Cincinnati gets a hug from his mother, Pam, during the homecoming for the Ohio National Guard 612th Engineer Battalion in St. Marys. The soldiers returned home Friday from Iraq. The unit, which left in November 2004 for Iraq, must return to Camp Atterbury in Indiana Jan. 4 to complete demobilization. A formal welcome home celebration will take place at 10 a.m. Jan. 8 at Memorial High School, St. Marys.
