| | Checking out a whimsical worm, part of a geography project at Marion Local Elementary School, are third-graders Rachel Berning, left, and Lacie Mueller. Students sent 20 of the soft sculpture worms with relatives and friends bound for faraway places. The worms traveled to 30 states and eight foreign countries between late August and early December.
