  A fire in a cotton mop dryer at Tuway American Group, Rockford, caused the factory and office to be evacuated on Wednesday. There were no injuries and work today went as normal, according to Tuway employee Crystal Clayton. Rockford Assistant Fire Chief Rob Belna said the fire produced a lot of smoke and was contained to the dryer. He added one engine and six firefighters responded to the incident. No dollar value was available at press time today.
