Festival of Trees in Mendon
Despite a cold wind, hundreds of people from across the area came to Mendon this weekend for the eleventh annual Festival of Trees. While a Christmas Walk invited visitors to homes, churches and Jim's Harley-Davidson museum, Mendon's historic Town Hall housed 80 decorated Christmas trees. For a $1 donation, visitors snaked their way to the theater on the second floor and through the downstairs offices before receiving complimentary refreshments. The weekend events are hosted and sponsored by the Christmas Committee, The Mendon Lions Club, the Civic Club and the Committee for Future Development.
