A cold winter wind blew across Grand Lake this past weekend but inside Bella's Italian Grille in Celina baseball fans were thinking spring training. The Cincinnati Reds Caravan made a stop in the area to talk with the media, fans and to sign some autographs. Gary Rasberry, sports writer for The Daily Standard, interviewed Reds' star second baseman, Brandon Phillips, who is ready for the approaching season. Also preeminent among Reds dignitaries was long-time radio announcer Marty Brenneman who brought some perspective to the tradition of the Reds Caravan. As for spring training this year, when the Reds will relocate from Sarasota, Florida to Goodyear, Arizona, Brenneman's opinion is mixed. More of Gary's interview with Marty Brenneman.
