Rev. C. Bonnie Sanders
Rev. C. Bonnie Sanders, 86 died at 12:01 a.m. Oct.. 3, 2009, at her residence in St. Marys.
She was born Dec. 3, 1923, in Kingswood, Ky. to Walter George and Neeley "Fern" Henschen. On April 1, 1946, she married Warren W. Sanders, who is deceased.
Survivors are an adopted daughter, Jeannie (Marvin) McLauglin, St. Marys; two brothers, Fred and Ted Henschen, both of Cincinnati; two sisters, Martha Henschen Doubledee, Bradford, and Patricia Henschen Miller, Hopesound, Fla.; six grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Dwight Henschen; and two sisters-in-law, Jean and Jane Henschen.
She studied at Frankfort Pilgrim College and the University of Cincinnati. She was ordained with the Wesleyan Denomination and pastored for approximately 43 years at Union Chapel, Sayler Park, Cincinnati, North Fairmount Wesleyan, Cincinnati, and First Wesleyan Church, St. Marys. She was a member and associate pastor of Living Faith Ministries, Mendon and Friends of Cincinnati Library.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Living Faith Ministries, Mendon, the Rev. Steven Coburn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys.
