Two men were killed early Saturday morning when the car in which they were riding veered out of control, struck two trees and burst into flames along state Route 119 near St. Henry. The accident occurred at 2:58 a.m., 20 minutes after the driver had been issued a warning from a Coldwater police officer. [More]

ROSSBURG - Sammy Swindell withstood a late rally by Kerry Madsen and won his third $50,000 check at the 29th annual Kings Royal on Saturday night at Eldora Speedway.
Swindell took the lead from 2008 Kings Royal winner Daryn Pittman on lap 11 and then held on for the win in the 40-lap event. [More]

WAPAKONETA - A longtime member of the Auglaize County Board of Health is retiring.
