A Mercer County Sheriff's deputy and a Celina firefighter respond to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Howick and Hayes roads near Celina. Firefighter Mike Bruns said the accident caused damage to a utility pole. He noted the driver reportedly refused transport to the hospital. Further information was not available by press time.
