The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has scheduled local public hearings in Case Nos. 25-958-EL-AIR, 25-959-EL-AAM, 25-960-EL-ATA, 25-961-EL-RDR In the Matter of the Application of The Dayton Power and Light Company d/b/a AES Ohio to Establish a Three- Year Rate Plan for 2027, 2028, and 2029 Pursuant to R.C. 4909.18. In its application, as updated on November 12, 2025, AES Ohio requests to increase its base distribution revenue requirement by $169,815,452 in 2027, a base distribution revenue increase of 34.82 percent; by $41,377,134 in 2028, a base distribution revenue increase of 6.28 percent; and by $26,247,569 in 2029, a base distribution revenue increase of 3.74 percent. After its review of the application and records, the Staff of the Commission recommends an increase to the base distribution revenue requirement of $113,852,400 in 2027, a base distribution revenue increase of 22.84 percent; an increase of $28,385,208 in 2028, a base distribution revenue increase of 4.61 percent; and an increase of $22,273,086 in 2029, a base distribution revenue increase of 3.45 percent. The local hearings are scheduled for the purpose of providing an opportunity for interested members of the public to testify in these proceedings. The local hearings will be held as follows:
(a) Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the Planning and Resource Center, Mezzanine Floor, 101 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
(b) Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Dayton Municipal Building, Commission Chambers, 101 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
The evidentiary hearing in this proceeding will commence on August 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the offices of the Commission, Hearing Room 11-A, 11th Floor, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, OH.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:
The county intends to loan the amount of $210,000 to WAL Development, LLC for the purchase of property located at 101 S. Main St, Celina. The project will create 6 FTE jobs, of which 4 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $480,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $210,000; Equity $48,000 and Private Lender $222,000.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed application, before the loan is approved.

Auglaize County Solid Waste District
Public Hearing Notice Period for Generation Fee Abolishment
The Auglaize County Solid Waste District Policy Committee (Policy Committee) is conducting a public notice for a public hearing on a resolution to abolish the solid waste management generation fees authorized in Ohio Revised Code 3734.573. The proposal is to abolish the generation fee of $7.65 per ton.
The Board will hold a public hearing concerning its intention to abolish the generation fee on disposal and transfer facilities to receive solid waste generated within Auglaize County at the following date, time, and location:
June 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Auglaize County Administrative Building, 209 South Blackhoof Street, Room 201, Wapakoneta, OH 45895.
