Mildred Elliott

Mildred F. Elliott, 83, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 30, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
   She was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Hackensack, N.J., to Frances and Mildred Kastner Olsen. On Aug. 24, 1946, she married Oliver J. Elliott, who survives.
   Also surviving are five sons, Dennis (Maryann), of Columbus, John (Marcia) of Spencerville, Carl (Beth) of Fort Shawnee, Mike (Pam) of Wapakoneta and Pat (Paula) of New Bremen; two daughters, Susan Elliott and Barbi (Dave) Gardner, all of Wapakoneta; a son-in-law, Jerry Price, Celina; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a daughter, Cathy Price; and a grandson.
   She was a homemaker and a secretary for a pharmaceutical company in New York City. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and their Catholic Ladies. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691 Auxiliary, Wapakoneta.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church the Rev. Henry Albietz officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.

Dorothy Lodge

Dorothy J. Lodge, 89, of Bannock, died Jan. 30, 2006, at Crestview Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.
   She was born Dec. 4, 1916, in Flushing, to Charles E. and Alta Fisher Johnson. She married Merritt B. Lodge, who died in 1985.
   Survivors are a son, Edward (April) of Evans, Ga.; three daughters, Priscilla (Richard) Shifflette, Bexley, Barbara (Joe) Gallman, Celina, and Marcia of Bannock; a brother, Thomas, Newark; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother, Richard Johnson and two sisters Elanor Lyle and Marguerite Dixon.
   She was a teacher for 25 years at what became the Union Local School District and for two years she was the principal at Uniontown School. She was a member of the Uniontown United Presbyterian Church.
   Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Clairsville, the Rev. Stephen Long officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Louise Zimmerman

Louise V. Zimmerman, 89, of St. Marys, died Jan. 30, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   She was born Sept. 3, 1916, in St. Marys, to Samuel and Bessie Goodwin Cotterman. She married Floyd Zimmerman Sr., who is deceased.
   Survivors are a son, Floyd (Mary) of St. Marys; a daughter, Linda (Bob Miller) Rockwood, St. Marys; two brothers, Joe (Doris) Cotterman, and Lester (Barb) Cotterman, all of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Richard Zimmerman and 10 siblings.
   Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
