Hilda Muhlenkamp

Hilda L. Muhlenkamp, 89, former resident of 5938 state Route 49, Fort Recovery, died at 6:28 a.m. Feb. 1, 2006, at Briarwood Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   She was born April 13, 1916, in St. Peter, to William and Elizabeth Kramer Sutter. On Sept. 22, 1936, she married Leander "Shorty" Muhlenkamp, who survives.
   Also surviving are five sons, Virgil (Patricia) and LeRoy (Sue), all of Coldwater, Larry (Janice) and Terry (Bonnie), all of Fort Recovery, and Lavern (Diana) of Clayton; three daughters, Gladys (Ernest) Kuess, Coldwater, Doris (Bill) Simons, Warminster, Penn., and Rita (Donald) Kramer, New Bremen; a sister, Eleanor Braun, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Peggy of Coldwater; 34 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and a step grandchild.
   Deceased are a son, Ed; four brothers, Albert, August, Clarence and William Sutter; three sisters, Florentina Moorman, Pauline Knoth and Philomena Lange; a half-brother, Robert Sutter; and a great-grandchild.
   She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, their altar sodality, Catholic Order of Foresters and Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, Fort Recovery.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Daughters of Isabella prayer service is 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.


Ruth Pratt

Former Celina resident, Ruth Pratt, 85, 6109 Del Mar Drive, Port Orange, Fla., died at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 30, 2006, at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Fla.
   She was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Celina, to Earnest G. & Barbara Boise Bader. She married Earl E. Pratt, who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Earl Pratt of Port Orange, Fla.; daughter, Lori Leigh (G.M.) Osta, Port Orange, Fla.; and four grandchildren
   Deceased are a son, David Willard Pratt and a brother, John E. Bader.
   She was a member of the Mt. Carmel First Church of God and attended the Celina First Church of God.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
