Brooklyn Cron

Brooklyn Victoria Cron, 5, of Jackson Center, died April 5, 2006, at the scene of an automobile-train accident in Shelby County.
   She was born Dec. 15, 2000, in Piqua, to Nancy Birt, who survives in Troy. Her adopted parents, Robert J. and Peggy A. Wagner Selhorst, survive in Jackson Center.
   Also surviving are grandparents, Vicky Kaufhold, Piqua, Norman and Dolores Selhorst, Montezuma, and Timothy & Kimberly Wagner, Jackson Center; great-grandparents, Mildred Selhorst, Coldwater, Eugene and Dotty Wagner, Piqua, Louis and Carolyn Curtis, Owensboro, Ky., and Patricia Archer, Fla.
   She attended the Care-A-Lot Pre-School, Botkins. She loved to help at The Styling Co., Sidney.
   Joint graveside services with Jacob Valentine will be 2 p.m., Sunday at the Loramie Valley Cemetery, the Revs. Sylvia Hull and Patrick Sloneker officiating.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.


Valette Moyer

Vallette Kaye Moyer, died April 5, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
   She was born in Auburn Ind., to Morris and Sarah Salon Kaye. On Jan 13, 1946, she married Harry J. Moyer, who survives.
   Other survivors are a daughter, Kaye (Mark) Winerman, Lima; a sister, Frances Shine, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
   Deceased is a son, Steven M. Moyer.
   She was a part owner of the Luggage Shop and a medical technician at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Children's Hospital, Akron, and Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital. She graduated from Celina High School, attended Ohio State University and graduated from Cook County School of Technology as a registered medical technician.
   Arrangements were handled by Chiles & Sons-Laman Shawnee Chapel.
