Ann Rita Broering

Former Minster and Yorkshire resident Ann Rita Broering, 87, died April 6, 2006, at Alexian Village, Milwaukee, Wisc.
   She was born Oct. 3, 1918, in Fort Recovery, to Stephen and Rose Braun Jutte.
   Survivors are a son, William (Judy), Yorkshire; a daughter, Karen (Richard) Kettler, Whitefish Bay, Wisc.; a brother, Herbert (Yolanda) Jutte, Garden Grove, Calif.; a sister, Agnes Lamm, Celina; six grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
   Deceased are a son, Thomas; four brothers, Harold, Richard, Earl and Bernard Jutte; two sisters, Catherine Wickleman and Erma Broering; a daughter-in-law, Wanda; three brothers-in-law, Robert Lamm, Lawrence Wickleman and Roman Broering; and a sister-in-law, Luella Jutte.
   She was a beautician, homemaker, farmer and bookkeeper for Patterson Township. During World War II she built airplane engines in Dayton. She was a former member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
   Calling is 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.


Robert Hausfeld

Robert G. Hausfeld, 51, of South Fulton, Tenn., died the morning of April 9, 2006, at his residence of a sudden illness.
   He was born March 14, 1955, in Coldwater, to Roman and Mildred Davis Hausfeld.
   Survivors are a daughter, Veronica M. Hausfeld, Shortsville, N.Y.; a brother, Joe (Lisa), West Carrollton; six sisters, Marilyn Hart, Miamisburg, Pat Clough, Maria Stein, Marti (Dave) Hissong, Centerville, Theresa (PJ) Garlock, Lima, Joan (Jan) Kentner, Wapakoneta, and Annie (Mike) Bollheimer, Fort Loramie, and a grandson.
   He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys and Union City, Tenn. He was a 1937 Marion Local High School graduate and a former member of the St. John Church, Maria Stein.
   Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Cemetery, the Rev. Kenneth Schroeder officiating.
   Calling is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.


Vernon Heckman

Vernon C. Heckman, 84, of North Hanover St., Minster, died the evening of April 10, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.


Omer Newcom

Omer L. Newcom, 87, of Coldwater, died April 11, 2006, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   He was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Columbus, to Harry Lee and Omar Mitchell Newcom. On Aug. 20, 1949, he married Myra Margaret Tekamp, who died Sept. 10, 1997.
   Survivors are three sons, Rick, Coldwater, Doug (Nancy), San Antonio, Texas, and Dwayne, Rochester, Mich.; a daughter Cheryl (Ron) Hafner, Tontogany; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
   He retired from New Idea in 1981 as a tool engineer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was a member of Fraternal Order Of Eagles 3025, American Legion Post 470 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135, all of Coldwater.
   Prayer Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. Friday.


Herbert Stanfill

Herbert Hoover Stanfill, 77, 204 1/2 W. Market St., Celina, died at 2:20 p.m. April 9, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
   He was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Lowell, Ky., to Emmett and Minnie Bergen Stanfill. He married Virginia Jones, who died January of 1965.
   Survivors are three sons, Herbert Jr. (Rebecca), Bradford, and Jerry Wayne (Deb) and Rodney, all of Celina; three daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Cullinane, Tucson, Ariz., Carla (Michael) Antonelli, Celina, and Patricia (Joe) Borello, Plantation, Fla.; a sister, June Griffith, Dearborn, Mich.; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are two brothers, Bill and Edward; and a sister, Geneva Boston.
   He was employed by Chakeres Theatres Inc. for 41 years and was manager of the Celina Theatre, St. Marys Theatre and Lake Drive-In Theatre and several other Chakeres Theatres throughout the southwestern Ohio area.
   He was a member of the Celina Baptist Temple and a former member of the Lions Club and the Eagles in the Dayton area.
   Services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial is in Lowell, Ky.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
