One of three ambulances departs an accident scene Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Mercer-Darke County Line Road near North Star. Linda J. Sauder, 38, of Bradford, was stopped northbound on U.S. 127 waiting to turn left when a truck driven by Glenn Hayne, 44, of Celina, attempted to pass. The vehicles collided at 3:42 p.m. as Sauder turned. She and five passengers were transported to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater with non-incapacitating injuries, according to an incomplete report from the Dayton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
