* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Carl Combs

Former Celina resident Carl Thomas Combs, 62, of Fort Worth, Texas, died at 6 p.m. Jan. 27, 2007, in Fort Worth. Death was due to natural causes.

He was born July 14, 1944, in Bradford, to Willie and Martha Doris Tipton Combs. His mother survives in Celina. In 1962, he married Patricia Ann Hilbert, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Steve Jacobs and Tommy Lee, and two daughters, Laura Kane and Tonya Combs, all of Texas; two brothers, James (Vickie), Celina, and Frank (Brenda), of Canada; four sisters, Madelyn Grunden, Norma (Les) Youne, Brenda (Ed) Butturini and Rita (Bill) Craft, all of Celina; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a sister, Louise Beggs.

He was a truck driver.

Private family services will be held in Fort Worth.
