Decluttering the lake

State park worker Aaron Horner makes a sweep around East Bank in St. Marys. Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Assistant Manager Brian Miller reported 74 volunteers participated, collecting 142 bags of trash. Some of the larger items found included a refrigerator, washing machine parts and tires. Miller said about a dozen more volunteers helped this year compared to last year.
