Robert Topp
Robert H.W. Topp, 77, 2859 state Route 274, New Bremen, died at 8:07 a.m. June 25, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born June 13, 1930, near New Bremen, to Leo and Luella Blumhorst Topp. On July 19, 1949, he married Betty Lutterbeck, who survives near New Bremen.
Also surviving are a son, Mark (Paula), New Bremen; two sisters, Janice (Lloyd) Schroer, New Bremen, and Bonnie (Orville) Heidt, New Knoxville; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Michael.
He was a farmer and farm drainage contractor. He was a graduate of New Bremen High School and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, were he served as a deacon and on German Protestant Cemetery Board.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad or the church memorial fund.
