* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Emma Watson
Emma Lee Watson, 67, 800 Indiana Ave., St. Marys, died at 2 p.m. Oct. 28, 2007, at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Monticello, Ky., to Freeman and Vena Slagle Watson. Her mother survives in Waynesville.
Also surviving are two sons, Ron (Candy) Cooper, Colorado Springs, Colo., and David (Chrystal) Cooper, Celina; two daughters, Shirley Hines, St. Marys, and Robin Clark, Cookeville, Tenn.; a brother, Carlos Dean (Awona) Watson, Jasonville, Ind.; two sisters, Marguerite (Jim) Stapleton, West Alexandria, and Doris (Julian) Farley, Waynesville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
She was a homemaker and member of Samaria Missionary Baptist Church, St. Marys. She also attended Only Believe Ministries, Botkins.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. Marys church, the Rev. Jack Burns officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
